Select the Proper Ladder Style / type –
There are many different types of ladders so the first step is choosing the right style for the job.
Select the Proper Height –
To ensure you choose the ladder best suited to your needs, your needed reach height determines the right ladder size.
Select Performance (Duty Rating)–
Consider job demands and load capacity. Account for all users that may use the ladder. What is the frequency of use? Will you be hauling heavy materials up the ladder?
Select the Right Material–
Choose what’s best for you. FIBERGLASS: Maximum safety and durability. ALUMINUM: Lightweight and strong.

CHOOSING THE RIGHT CASTOR

Capacity-
Choose the range based on what you are using it for, and how much load it will carry.
Floor / Surface Conditions –
Choose a wheel, based on the floor surface it will be travelling on.
Choose the diameter of the wheel. –
The larger the wheel, the easier to push and the better the ride comfort (ability to pass over bumps and to minimize vibration).
Choose the bearing type –
Choosing castors and wheels with bearings, makes them easier to move, however in certain outdoor and offshore environments standard bearings may cease.
Brake and Castor Configuration –
Choose the type of brake and castor configuration.
Choose your fittings –
Bolt hole fittings, Washer mount (for bolt hole) & Plate mount.
